If you don't have EndNote desktop installed you will need to download the CWYW plug in from the Options tab in EndNote Online. Tip: To restart footnote or endnote numbering at the beginning of each section, in the Footnote and Endnote box, click Footnotes or Endnotes, and in Numbering, click. Choose where you want to apply the changesthe whole document or the section you’re inand then click Insert. You should see the below EndNote files listed under 'Global Templates and Add-ins'. Cite While You Right is installed by default as part of the EndNote installation process. You'll need to have both your Word document and your Endnote library open when using CWYW. In the Footnote and Endnote box, select the options you want. This tool allows you to easily insert citations that can be automatically formatted in the right style when you are ready to publish. EndNote integrates into Microsoft Word via a plugin called Cite While You Write (CWYW). Two steps are necessary to be able to use EndNote with Word: 1: download the CWYW-plug-in, this step is explained below.
